Exploring church ruins

Now that my King's Lynn book project is finally complete, I have begun work on my next project, church ruins, abbeys and castles! There are some amazing churches thick with ivy, and beautiful abbeys and priories in Norfolk.

First is St George's church in Hindolveston....quite a spooky place, full of shadow..I followed a winding path between old gravestones to find a way in.

Included in the images are some charcoal sketches as I explore different ways to create this new project.
